Produced by Demi Louise

I was approached to produce an original opera film, "Émilie & Voltaire," right after I graduated from acting school. I couldn't resist the opportunity and jumped straight into the project. I quickly involved my partner, Kailesh, who masterfully orchestrated, arranged, and brought Nicholas's compositions to life. Cheryl Sawyer, our librettist, crafted the storyline based on the fascinating true story of Émilie, Marquise du Châtelet.

“Émilie has class, the heart of Voltaire, and a haven far from scandal, but will she lose it all by claiming her place in science?”

Supported by Opera Australia and sponsored by Herbies Spices, the Talent Development Project, Waterloo Studios, City of Melbourne, and Filmsticks. This project was my very first film produced at the age of 21. My roles included producer, location scout, editor, colourist, titles & SFX facilitating the recording, fundraising, and serving as the First Assistant Director. I am truly grateful to all who were involved in our team. Want to watch the film? Have a look at my producer sizzle reel below!
